Built confidence.

Today we didn\\\'t do a regular lesson, I had some dirt work around the barn to do so I put my boys out on pasture and let Drifter come help me at the barn. He hovered around watching everything I did and asked for manure fork massages when I would pause from working. I was afraid the lawn tractor would scare him, but instead the silly bugger chased me around on the tractor, he thought it was a great game.

Lead at trot, wore bareback pad

Improved circles. Focused on his confidence in tightening the cinch with bareback pad. Taught to trot off with me while leading.

FQ, HQ yields

HQ yields are less reactive now, calmer more thought-out. Worked on teaching him to sidepass and yield his HQ towards me to help him overcome his fear of people near his HQ.
