Add a Health Activity: Challenge complete!

For the horse that you added, now create a health activity. This part is not displayed on the public site, and is strictly for your records. When you create a health activity like hoof care or de-worming, you can also set a time to notify you when it is time for the farrier to come again. We use these reminders at our barn not only to schedule the vet/farrier, but also as a helpful reminder to prepare the horse for their upcoming trim. Reminders will be active next week, but you can go ahead and set them now.

Horse Image

03/14/2018 02:04

Add a Training Activity: Challenge complete!

For one of the horses that you added, add a training activity. For organizations participating in the higher training levels, you will have the option to show this horse activity on the public site as well. This feature isn't enabled yet, but can be a great way for potential adopters, supporters, and donors to see all the hard work your team is doing, and you don't have to enter the info in multiple places! A particular helpful piece in the activity log is a place to write a "Plan 4 Next Time" This can allow the horse to stay progressive even when multiple team members and volunteers may be responsible for the training.

Add a Horse: Challenge complete!

Using the "Horses" Tab, add a horse that is under the care of your organization. It can be a horse that is in rehabilitation or a horse that is in training. Or better yet, add both! You can add as many horses as you would like. The more comfortable you and your team become with tracking horse health and training activity with the site, the better data we can have to help support rescue organizations through education and grant funding. You and your volunteers can access this site from any computer or mobile device, making it even easier to track progress. Plus, every horse you add under your organization will be listed on the public site, giving your equines more opportunity to be seen and adopted.
