Assign A Horse to this Challenge: Challenge complete!
With the help of your director/trainer, assign a horse to this purpose that you will complete the challenges with. As a bonus, your director may have already assigned a horse for you! Ideally, this will be the same horse you chose for grooming from the previous purpose - VOLUNTEER 1: Equine Body Language
Add a picture to a training log of a horse that is assigned to you of a correctly wrapped lead rope. The lead rope can be attached to a real horse (if the horse is ready for this exercise) or it can be attached to an empty halter if you are doing this is a simulation with a "Volunteer" horse.
Worked in round pen off and on lead rope. I used stick and string all over her body she stood still. I put a ssaddle pad on her and she stood like a champ. I stood on mounting block putting pressure on her she did not care. I then put my leg over her back to see if she would react to the leg on her she turned her head and looked at my boot. I did all of this on her right side. Gave her a bath.
Caught her in the round pen and haltered. Worked on leading and stopping. Used stick and string rubbed her all over and she stood like a champ. Used stick and string on front left I moved her leg she followed in a full circle both directions with no resistance.
Haltered fizzy pop and we went to the arena. Still working on her right side. She went thru the tires over the white half barrels. Fizzy pop was curious about the trailer and walked up on the ramp I did not push her to go all the way in , but she stood on the ramp without any issues.
Checking fizzy pop out to see what she knows . She would rush around the pen but would also check in. I was able to halter her and she did fine going to her left her going to the right needs work she had her shoulder in and not moving out and around so she we in to the stick.
