*UPDATE/Current Status*

***Update and current status*** Heddy is a super sweet and fairly calm girl who tries hard. She is learning how to roll the HQ for relaxation, side up to the panel with handler above leaning and sitting on. She has had her back feet roped and has had the 22 ft. line on the girth and flank area, and was saddled last night. She is currently learning how to ground drive. We are waiting for a farrier appointment to progress into more lunging/cavesson work to build up her topline and then will proceed with saddle work. We all think she will progress quickly and be a great little horse to adopt. She currently: Leads Ties Picks up all 4 feet to be cleaned Is learning to lunge Saddles

Groundwork, Saddle

Worked on following a feel and giving to pressure leading, yielding HQ and FQ with intention/energy and physical pressure. Lounging with the flag work on following feel to change gaits and rolling HQ with flag. Went into cavesson at walk and trot with and without saddle on. Heddy has a huge amount of try and is super thoughtful and reasonable in her responses but is has an underlying worry and cautiousness about her that we are making sure to be aware of to set her up for success.
