I assisted the farrier with Kiera\\\'s hoof care. We trimmed her outside. She was difficult to catch, and she did not want to stand still. We managed to trim her front feet, and we did not attempt to trim her back feet.
getting her used to spray bottle, handeling feet, grooming, basic handeling
all this is ground work, no riding minutes! Kiera is becoming more trusting, and patient. she will after a few minutes approach you to have her head rubbed. working on dropping her head w/ pressure on pole, touching ears.
Ground minutes 45. she is very sensitive. flag was to much, would try to climb out of pen! hard to approach at first, but does now the routine. very smart. finally would go around willingly and at a comfortable pace. she does halter and lead well
