worked on boundries, not turning into me, obstacle course, round pen, feet

Lady has a bad habit of turning into me, I took a short carrot stick and used it as an extension of my hand to keep her at a safe distance from me. when she tried to turn into me I would not let her turn, I backed her up then turned her back to the direction we were going. She was much better, also used carrot stick to keep her from coming to close when facing me in round pen. She walked across the bridge for the first time today several times, walked on the tarp easily. She put her head in the trailer but did not go in. Also worked on ground tying, and standing tied calm. Also lifted all feet.

Halter, round pen, obstacle course, ground tie, bridge, trailer, tarp.

Haltered with ease. Went into round pen with less resistance, goes to right easily but harder for her on her blind side, needs to calm down and stay out of my space. Did not ground tie well today. She was calmer today when standing while listening to the class instruction. Walked over logs easily, smelled the bridge but would not go on it. Trailer unsuccessful, would not focus. She did walk on the tarp many times without problems. The last time she would not go near it. Still throws her head and paws but not as bad. Overall she was a little better behaved during lecture. Lifted all four legs she was not halted but was in her pen.

Halter, round pen, obstacle course, ground tie, trailer

Lady will now come to me when I call her. She will back off a little, but she is easy to halter. She is reluctant to go into the round pen, but is getting better. Once in the round pen she knows what to do but needs to slow down. Practiced ground tie, she does well but needs practice staying longer. Then we went to obstacle course, she walks over the lower logs well, but stumbles over the higher ones. Previously she wouldn\\\'t even look at the bridge, but today she actually put her nose on it and explored it a bit, she did walk over it but her feet did not touch it. She walked up to the trailer and she did put her front feet in but stopped at that point. Lifted all four feet. She does not like to stand at tying post and will throw her head and paw at the ground.
