60 Day Challenge: Advanced

Lina and I finished the challenges in the 60 Day Challenge: Advanced. She did most things really well, and there were some challenges that we still need to work on! Lina\\\'s biggest challenge is being comfortable with things on her: ropes, saddle pads, bareback pad, saddle. All of them caused her a great amount of anxiety when placed on her back. I feel that we would have made more progress if I could work with her more than once a week. She was great with coming up to the mounting block, lining up to the fence, circles, and transitions without anything on her, but would fall apart and be so anxious when she had something on her that she had a very hard time focusing on the task at hand. Our in-house trainer, Cori, was great and helped me quite a bit when Lina would not stand to have the bareback pad on her, and eventually getting the saddle on her. I\\\'m happy to say we did finally get the saddle on her (not without being a bucking bronc!) and though these exercises were challenging for both me and Lina, we both learned so much and are grateful for the opportunity to go through this program!
