01/24/2018 12:00 training,ground work grooming |
Catching, leading over obstacles, yielding hind quarters, attempting fore quarters, we did left, not as good right. Flexing right and left, backing with leadrope, very little pressure. First time thru round pen gate, we both mainly me need more work to do this quietly. When in round pen, sent left and right fairly well. Again I need to be better with cues |
01/20/2018 12:00 catching, independent with gates, ground work |
Calm haltering and doing gates with no back-up. Leading well stops appropriately, lead over poles and bridge. Desensitized with stick and string, practiced hanging out with neither one of us getting antsy, Marcella is calmer than me, flexed both right and left. I felt much better about this, Marcella did great. Yielded hind quarters, right and left. Groomed, less moving around during this. Return to pen and latching gate, calm and orderly. Backing off leadrope and halter. |
