Groundwork and Ride

I started with Percy in the round pen working on getting Percy to relax and trust me. Once I felt Percy was in a good frame of mind I groomed him and worked on picking up his feet. I then saddle Percy and he was really good with saddling. I then worked on his inability to stand still at the mounting block by reassuring him when he stood next to it and making him move his feet a little when he wouldn\\\'t. After that I rode him at the walk and trot in the round pen. I mostly worked on relaxation and softening to the bit.
