Practice for Hippotherapy work: With 4 other horses, lead in patterns and around obstacles. Walked a square with small diameter turns, walk off, back up, shorter and longer strides at walk to match the pace of the person leading, walked, halted, and backed between mounting ramp and block, rubbed back and head while halted in that space. No issues.
Preparations for possible use as a Hippotherapy horse in Dream Catcher Therapy program. Volunteer Sandy groomed and lead around paddocks, farm equipment, and walking patterns with stops and turns. A little nervous at first about some unusual construction equipment but settled and followed lead of other horses to touch his nose to items of concern. Reasonably good to good responsiveness to leading requests.
